CPEX President, David Cooper, has been in the construction and engineering business for over 20 years. After receiving a civil engineering degree from Georgia Tech in 1992, David spent ten years planning, designing, or overseeing construction for major highway and general civil projects from coast to coast.

We're often asked how we came up with the name CPEX. The answer is simple. It's an acronym that describes what we do every day. Whatever the specific project may be, our business is to Conceive of, Plan, and EXecute construction projects. The name also reminds us that every day is spent Constantly Pursuing EXcellence. The embodiments of these philosophies are as unique from one project to another, as one client is from the other. We are intentional about looking at your project through the prism of your specific needs. Whether white boxing after a move out, building out for an incoming tenant, façade makeover, or major repairs and / or renovations, we strive to understand your specific goals and objectives.
Why the name CPEX?
After earning a Professional Engineer's license, he
shifted his focus away from engineering consulting and into land development for one of the largest home builders in the nation. Here, he learned every aspect of development and construction from analyzing prospective land purchases, to market segmentation.
With this experience, David launched CPEX. Our focus is on taking ownership of our client’s objectives. One way we do this is by simply delivering your project on time and drama-free.
